Nike Omni
Create a frictionless online to offline shopping experience that provides an effortless way to find, purchase, and receive products that best suit the users' behavior or needs.
Store Pickup Integration
Q1 FY21
Bringing the MVP of buy online/pickup in-store to the Nike App and Nike.com. Working around distinct service limitations of our product offering set differentials between fulfillment centers and stores—with ship to store and ship from store fulfillment coming as a progressive enhancement to more fully support Omni operations.
Features
Creating the foundation of Omni through North America release of store pickup, rapidly expanding to support globalization, developing fulfillment methods. MVP release only supports a singular form of pickup fulfillment—if any item within a user's order is not available for pickup—pickup is entirely unavailable for the user. Goal to elevate pickup without generating user confusion or disappointment with limited pickup fulfillment options within the first release.

Nike Omni Checkout Update
Q2 FY21 - Q4 FY21
The infrastructure of legacy checkout was not designed to support complex fulfillment options. As additional Omni features are delivered—we risk overloading the user by working around a broken system while creating immense product debt. Checkout experience in Nike App and Nike.com should be reoriented, with the priority of supporting straightforward Omni offerings while updating legacy architecture and legacy styling to integrate with the design system.

Leveraging insight tested selection states to support better user understanding (seriously look at the legacy selection state—it is a miracle users make it through Checkout)
